UPDATE 6/13/14: The Holi Water War will proceed as planned! Storms look like they will not be in the area until after the program. So get ready to get messy and colorful! We'll be outside near the parking lot entrance around 1pm for registration, and the program will start 2pm! Call Leanne, YA Librarian, 281-360-6804 for more information!
Our second annual Holi Water Fight is here! Holi is a traditional Indian celebration that uses powdered pigment to celebrate spring. This program is for teens ages 12-18, or those entering grades 6-12 in the fall. Celebrate the start of summer with Kingwood Library’s Holi Water Fight. Permission slips are REQUIRED for this program. Permission slips can be picked up in the Teen Area any time prior to the program, and can be dropped back off there or handed in the day of the program. You can also fill out your permission form the day of the program. NOTE: Holi powdered may temporarily dye skin or hair, and will permanently dye clothing so dress accordingly. Attending this program will earn you an entry to put in one of our six end of summer prize packs. For more information, please contact Leanne, YA Librarian, by phone at 281-360-6804, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org , or by clicking here .
