It's time once again for the Freeman Fall Festival at the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library. This year the event will kick off at 6:00 on Thursday, October 29 and continue until 7:30. There will be face painting, a craft, balloon animals, games to play, and a toddler open gym area. The whole family can put on their favorite Halloween costumes and join in the fun as we line up for costume parades and tour the library in search of yummy treats to eat.
There will still be time to vote for your favorite pumpkin during the annual Project Pumpkin Program. The pumpkins will be on display beginning on October 26. Each year library staff members enjoy putting their creative talents to work to change an ordinary pumpkin into something quite amazing...all without puncturing the pumpkin. So, be sure the check out our pumpkin patch and vote for your favorite. Voting will take place from October 26 through October 29 with the winner to be announced on Friday, October 30. The winner will have bragging rights for one full year.
