[2]June 1st marks the 72nd anniversary of Superman's debut! For over 70 years, the "Man of Steel" has entertained America and is considered a superhero pioneer.

Superman first appeared in Action Comics in 1938 by creators Joe Shuster [3] and Jerry Siegel [4]. The series immediately became popular and was adapted for radio, TV, and later as a motion picture film.
