Book Clubs at Kingwood Branch Library

Did you know we have a couple of book clubs that meet regularly here at Kingwood Branch Library? You can certainly be a part! Our evening group, which meets the third Monday evening every month at 7:00 PM, will be gathering in the Conference Room on the 20th to discuss People of the Book [2], by Geraldine Brooks. On that same Monday, the Bookworms Book Group, which also meets every third Monday but at 1:00 PM, will gather to discuss In the Valley of the Kings [3], by Daniel Meyerson.

Also, the annual Books on the Bayou [4]event is back again, and this year's selection is the acclaimed graphic novel Persepolis [5], by Marjane Satrapi. On Monday, September 27th, at 7:00 PM, we will host a discussion of this thought-provoking title in the Conference Room. If you enjoy a good read and delight in conversation about books, don't hesitate to join in!
