Beginning Monday May 16, Katy Library will offer an ongoing course in computer basics. Some topics we will cover in this free, semi-weekly course include:
Essential devices, mouse and keyboarding skills, creating folders and saving documents, basic word processing functions, e-mail basics, internet searching, and more…
All classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, lasting one hour each. To meet the demands of peoples’ differing schedules, we will offer two tracks:
Track A will accommodate patrons who are available mornings and afternoons, whereas track B will coordinate with evenings. There will be two separate lessons per week, so Monday lessons will continue on Wednesdays for the duration of the course. The course is expected to last between six and eight weeks. To get the full benefit, we strongly urge you to attend each class. Classroom space is limited to only 13 people per track, so sign up at the Katy Library information desk today to ensure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
Track A: Mon. 10:15 Am to 11:15 Am, Wed. 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM
Track B: Mon. 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Wed. 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
1st and 3rd Fridays will be catch-up days
