I've been gripped by a true story lately. Picking Cotton by Jennifer Thompson-Cannino and Ronald Cotton is the story of Jennifer being raped and her belief that Ronald was the perpetrator. He served 11 years in jail before DNA evidence proved his innocence and provided his release. I'm torn. Should I skip to the end to see him finally receive justice, or do I read every word because the book is so well-written? I'm picking the latter.
