Are you looking for ways to keep your kids busy next week during spring break? Why not get them started on a garden. The Katy Branch Library has numerous books on gardening with children. [2]

Ready, Set, Grow [3] by D.K. Publishing uses step-by-step photographs to show kids how to grow plants from planting seeds to harvesting.

The Gardening Book [4] by Jane Bull not only tells kids how to create a garden but includes many fun activities, such as painting pots and making wind chimes.
