When: Tuesday, March 18, 2014 - 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM Where: Northwest Branch Library at Meeting Room
Come learn at the library. Read books, sing songs, do a craft project. This ever-popular story time is a lot of fun and is designed to hold the interests of preschool-aged children. Pick up a ticket at the desk. Tickets are issued beginning 30 minutes in advanced. For ages 3-6.
Kids and teens (Age 8-17) are welcome to join our new knitting group. Learn to knit, crochet, or bring in something youve already started and create with the group! Please bring in your own knitting needles or hooks, if you have them.
The Reading Education Assistance Dogs program is dedicated to improving reading skills of children by using registered therapy teams as literacy mentors. Sign up for a 15 minute reading session at the desk and parents need to sign a permission slip. There is no charge for this program.
Information for Persons with Disabilities: Harris County Public Library will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who are interested in attending library programs. To make a request for yourself or someone you know, please notify the Branch Librarian two working days in advance of the program.
