I could not return my library materials because I could not reach the library due to high water. Am I still responsible for the late fees? 

If you return your books by September 15, you will not accrue late fees.

August 29th's seminar is about Interviewing. You will learn steps to help you make a great first impression, appropirately respond to questions, and effectively follow-up to improve your chances at getting an offer!

September 19th's Seminar will be about the Energy Industry. This seminar will cover what this industry includes, why it's important to Texas, how your skills transfer, and where to find "hidden" opportunities!

Job FlyerDo you have kids ages between the ages of 16 and 24? Are you looking for an opportunity for them to obtain skills they will use for the rest of their professional lives (and get them out of the house)?

Workforce Solutions will be having a Job Readiness Workshop at the Galena Park Branch Library for those ages 16-24! Attendees will benefit from some resume and interview tips, as well as be informed of job opportunities in the area.

A Monster Calls at the Library

We all have monsters in our dreams, but would you want to see them come to life? Teens and tweens, join us for some fun with prints on canvas this Tuesday, January 10th at 4 pm at the Galena Park Branch Library. Based on the book "A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness and the new movie coming out, we will create our monsters using acrylic paints and everyday items. Chronicles of Yarnia

Would you like to learn how to knit or crochet? Or do you have a knitting and crocheting project but would like to join a group for new ideas? Then come join our Chronicles of Yarnia knitting and crocheting program at the Galena Park Library meeting room this Thursday, December 22nd at 10 am. You may bring your own needles, hooks, and yarn or use the materials provided by the library while supplies last. This program is designed for adults.
