HCPL Harvey FAQs

I could not return my library materials because I could not reach the library due to high water. Am I still responsible for the late fees? 

If you return your books by September 15, you will not accrue late fees.

Teen Book Club: White Cat

Our teen book club meets the third wednesday of every month. Our next club meeting on Wednesday, September 20 will be discussing White Cat by Holly Black. Come join us for conversation and comaraderie.

Citizenship classes start Wednesday, August 23.

Our next round of citizen classes begins on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:00 am. Classes are each Wednesday and Thursday at 10 and run for nine weeks. Join us to learn about citizenship and prepare for the naturalization test. We hope to see you there!

At High Meadows, we’ve got a sotrytime for you!
Baby Storytime: Tuesdays @ 10:15 am
Toddler Storytime: Tuesdays @ 1:00 pm
Preschool Storytime: Thursdays @ 1:00 pm

…and on the second Monday of every month:
Pajama Storytime: 2nd Monday @ 6:00 pm

The summer reading program is coming to a close. We had a delightful end-of-summer party. Take this opportunity to  log the books you’ve read and the things you’ve done. Come claim prizes! Be sure to keep coming to High Meadows for our resources and our activities.
