Cuentos Bilingües/Bilingual Storytime

Join us tonight, Monday, May 1st at 6:30 PM in the children’s area for Cuentos Bilingües, a bilingual storytime in English and Spanish. Tonight’s theme is Los Animales. This storytime is geared towards children ages 3 years+. This will be our last evening bilingual storytime of the Spring Session. Hope to see you there!

We are Exploring Community Helpers in Toddler Time at the Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library

police carJoin us on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:15 AM or 11:00 AM as we learn about community helpers.   This week we will be reading about police officers.  Come sing, read and play with us at Toddler Time at the Katherine Tyra @ Bear Creek Library.


Toddler Time is an early literacy program for children from 18 months to 3 years of age.  This is a ticketed program.  Free tickets and a craft are available in the children’s area of the library starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the program.

Día Book Fiesta!

Come celebrate books and children at our El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day) party on Thursday, April 27th at 4:30 PM! We will have snacks, a butterfly craft, and a blingual story. This event is not ticketed, and all ages of children are welcome! Hope to see you there!

Financial Literacy Class

Join us this Saturday, April 22nd at 3:00 PM for a Financial Literacy Class.  Learn how to build wealth and asset accumulation in this free class taught by expert Danny Lu.

Join us on Tuesday, April 18th at 10:15 AM for Preschool Storytime! In anticipation of Earth Day this weekend, we will be reading about trees and the environment. This is a ticketed program, so don’t forget to pick up a free ticket from the children’s area before storytime starts. This program is intended for children ages 3-6 years old.

We have added to our Come Play and Pretend Center in our children’s area.
