HealthJanuary is a good time to start something new.  If you know someone who wants to improve their English as a Second Language skills, this is the time.  Our topic for January will be Health - every Friday at 3:30pm (followed by Spanish Computer Class at 4:30pm).

 The Katy Branch Library will be holding a Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament for Tweens and Teens. Grab your turtle shell, pick up a super star and see who can survive!

Computer Boot Camp Coming in January!

Computer Boot CampDo you need some help getting started using a computer? Or perhaps you need to hone your computer skills? Beginning in January the Katy Library will be hosting a nine part Computer Boot Camp for new computer users. We will go over skills such as using the mouse and keyboard, organizing files and folders, copying & pasting, surfing the web and much more!

Santa's All Over Katy

SantaDid you see Santa is stopping by to get his picture taken with you at the library this Saturday?  Well, he's also all over Katy on other days visiting people and helping to gather donations of food and toys.  Take a look at the local schedule here.   


Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa and Olaf, the snowman will be at the Katy Library on Saturday, December 6 from 1:00 to 3:00.  Have your picture taken with them and celebrate the season with snacks, crafts, and more!

ESL for Shopping

Shopping¿Necesitan aprender Inglés?  Know someone who needs to learn English?  In December, we'll be featuring ESL for Shopping on Fridays at 3:30pm.  Bring a friend to increase their shopping vocabulary and then stay for the Spanish Computer Class at 4:30pm.
