Earlier this month the American Library Association announced their selection of outstanding books for children and teens. Selected by committees composed of librarians and other literature experts, the awards encourage original and creative work in the field of children’s and young adult literature.

The AARP Tax Volunteers are available at the Katy Branch Library to help with you file your tax returns. They are at the library on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. However, you must arrive no later than 1:00 to insure your place in line.
