Book Riot Read Harder Challenge

This past year at the Katy Library, we have been very excited to participate in the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge.  This list has exposed us to books we probably would have never read and even pushed us outside of our reading comfort zone a few times.  While looking for books to fulfill each category, we have run across many others to add to our "to-read" pile and it has been fun seeing what others were choosing for themselves.  The 2017 Book Riot Read Harder Challenge was released a little over a week ago and we at the branch have been pouring over the categories, trying to find just the right book. We are so excited to begin on January 1st!  If you want to participate, head over to Book Riot and check out their 2017 Book Riot Read Harder Challenge.

The Katy Branch Library will have storytimes during the holidays.  Toddlertime will be held on Tuesdays, December 27 and January 3 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Preschool Storytime will be on Thursdays, December 29 and January 5 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  There will be no Baby Time on December 26 and January 2 due to the library being closed.
