Asian-Pacific Festival This Saturday

YOUNG ADULT BOOK CLUB

The young adult book club will meet in May after taking a month off.  The book to be discussed is the awesome graphic novel, Nimona by Noelle Stevenson.  Stop by the library and pick up your copy at the front desk.  The discussion is sure to be lively!  The group will meet on Tuesday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m. and is open to all teens.  Hope to see you there!

Gen Squad Webinar - Researching the Cluster

One strategy for finding the ancestor playing hide-and-seek is to research their cluster: the neighbors and family living and often migrating with them. In our next Gen Squad lesson we'll be watching a webinar about how to do cluster research to bring that hard-to-find family out into the open. Join us on Monday, 4/25 at 2:00pm.

The Katy Adult Garden Club will meet on Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m.  This month we’ll be exploring creative was to make labels for your garden plants.  Don’t forget we also have a seed exchange program.  Bring any seeds you’d like to share and exchange them for some you’d like to try.

Kids Garden Club

COMPUTER CODING BASICS

Are you interested in learning computer coding?  Learn basic coding on Wednesday, March 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Katy Library Computer Lab. Coding will be taught using a fun, self-paced Star Wars game from code.org.  Basic computer knowledge is recommended.
