Mystery Book Club at Kingwood Library

On Wed 7/11 join the Mystery Book Club @#KingwoodLibrary from 7-8:45 PM in the upstairs conference room. Discuss any of Jacqueline Winspeare's Maisie Dobbs series. Set in England in the early 1930's & continuing through WWII, Maisie sets out on her own as a private investigator.

SAGE: Yarnspirations!

Join SAGE tomorrow (Tues 7/10) from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Meeting Room for Yarnspirations. Design and share your own knit & crochet projects! Crochet or knit in the company of other enthusiasts. Yarn, pattern samples, & refreshments provided by F.O.L.K. No registration required.

This Week at the Library

Week six of the Summer Reading Program at the Kingwood Library! This Tuesday we have our regularly scheduled Toddler Time @ 10 AM and @ 10:30 AM. Lapsit Storytime is @ 11:15 AM on Tuesday and @ 11 AM on Thursday. Preschool Storytime will be @ 11 AM on Wednesday. We also have our Family Storytime presented on Saturday @ 10:30 AM where you can enjoy stories and a craft with your whole family! Tickets required upon entry for all storytimes. Pick up your free ticket at the Children's Reference Desk before entering your story time. Tickets will be given to the first 30 children and their caregivers the day of the scheduled event.

Teen Game Tournament & String Art

Calling all gamers! Do you have what it takes to finish the fight? A teen Super Smash Bros Tournament will be held on Monday, July 9, at 1:30 PM, in the Teen Game Room. Join the brawl for a chance to win a prize!

Then, on Wednesday, July 11, at 2;00 PM, come by the Teen Room to make your very own String Art Piece. Materials and a variety of templates will be provided, but feel free to bring a print out of your own design.

For teens and tweens entering grades 6-12.

In honor of #IndependenceDay, the #KingwoodLibrary will close at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 3rd and remain closed on Wednesday, July 4th. Regular hours resume on Thursday, July 5th.
