No, it’s not a traditional bookmobile. So if you need regular books, we won’t have them. But if you want ebooks, come to the Barbara Bush Branch Library parking lot on Tuesday, March 27 from 3 pm to 7 pm. The Overdrive Digital Bookmobile will help you get started with ebooks. Come aboard the 42-foot-long Overdrive Digital Bookmobile to learn how to borrow an eBook or audiobook and so much more! Experts will be available to teach beginners and show experienced users the latest features. If you are having problems, they can troubleshoot also! A Big Thank You to Junior Guild of Texas!

For years the young ladies of The Junior Guild of Texas have been wonderful Barbara Bush Branch Library sponsors. They contribute their time by volunteering and they make a sizeable donation each year to the branch. Since we've been rebuilding, we haven't gotten to see them, and we have missed them. Imagine our joy and gratitude when they gave us a call and met us at the African American Read in with a large check! Their donation will be a big help to us as we buy new books and equipment to restock our reconstructed building. Thank you ladies!
