Teen Read Week 2006

Get Active @ Your Library

Area teens will be reading for the fun of it as Harris County Public Library celebrates the ninth annual Teen Read Week, October 15 – 21, 2006. They join thousands of other libraries, schools and bookstores across the country who are encouraging teens to celebrate this year’s theme, "Get Active @ your library." This year’s theme encourages teens to use the resources in their library to lead active lives.

The Get Active @ Your Library Booklist includes fiction and nonfiction books about getting active in your community, using your body, using your imagination and getting active outdoors.

Many of the Harris County Public Libraries are offering Teen Read Week Programs.

Online Book Club

During Teen Read Week there were be an online discussion of these two books:
