Greetings, blog readers! My name is Deborah Sica and I am the Branch Librarian at the Northwest Branch Library. I received my Library and Information Science degree from San Jose State University and have been in information management and library science for over a decade. My career began in research and archival preservation, but I quickly came to know that the public library was the best place to be! The Northwest Branch is near and dear to my heart. The community support is tremendous and the Friends of the Library organization does so much to help make the library the best possible branch it can be. I look forward to many years to come and to seeing you at your library.
