Harris County Public Library is very excited to bring to you an exhibit of original fashion designs created by Houston Community College students for Fashion Fusion, a partnership between HCC and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston that culminates each year in a fashion show at MFAH. This year, students designed garments inspired by the recent Van Gogh exhibition. The designs draw on themes that represent the most prominent stages of Van Gogh's life, Inception, Awakening, Euphoria, and Melancholy.
Four HCPL branches have pieces on display from December 5 through January 22: Aldine Branch Library, Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library, Kingwood Branch Library, and Maud Smith Marks Branch Library.
In association with the exhibits, branches are presenting a variety of programs
