Live at lunch

Last Saturday marked the end of the HCPL Summer Reading Program “Tails and Tales,” and it was one for the books!

displaySummer is always our favorite time of year, but this year’s SRP was burstingdisplay with fantastic content like Authorama, magical crafts, and prizes we otter-ly adored!

Here at Maud Marks Library, we celebrated SRP in our own way with our Summer Fun Koozies for the June Maker Kit, and fun displays to embrace that jungle theme!

However, our favorite part of summer was our feature in the Live at Lunch show, “Making at Maud Marks!" We showed off our beautiful makerspace and demoed some of our favorite summer Maker crafts, like our Beach Memory Jar and our heat-pressed Centennial T-shirts!

If you are interested in our makerspace and its projects, check out the video below to learn more about Maker Central, crafting opportunities, and our brand-new Project Naturespace!
