About this Branch

The Spring Branch-Memorial Library is a community branch that serves the Memorial Villages and Spring Branch area. We provide programming and services for all ages. Our friendly staff is ready to help you find materials, download eMedia or register for programs at the branch. We are here to help.

The Spring Branch Memorial Library has served the community for many years. Its earliest location was an empty classroom at St. Francis Episcopal Church on Piney Point Road. In 1959 the library moved to a small cottage located near the library's present location. The current library opened in 1975.

Around this time of year, it is not uncommon to find the Grinch and Scrooges of the romantic variety.

It’s January! The time when we all take a good hard look at our lives and think about something that we want to improve about ourselves. For me, sometimes just existing is hard.
