If you want to learn to speak and read in English better in safe and friendly surroundings, you are in the right place. All of HCPL English-learning classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors and are completely free of charge. We provide all the materials. All you need is a desire to learn.

How much does it cost?

Classes are free. We also provide all books and materials at no cost to you.

What time are classes held?

How do I register for a class?

Visit the library to fill out a short registration form

How long are classes? 

Most classes meet once a week for two hours. Most courses last 12 or 16 weeks.

How safe is my registration information?

All of your information at HCPL is confidential. We do not share it with anyone.

How many people will be in the class?

It varies. Most classes have from 1 to 10 students
