In this forum, we provide organization-wide resources to assist and support active duty military, veterans, and their dependents.   These resources will help guide you to information such as: how to apply for benefits, compensation, pension, medical, educational, careers, and insurance.  Our services are dedicated to getting you the information that is best suited for you and your family!

The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans, spouses, and dependent children with an education benefit of up to 150 hours of tuition exemption, including most fee charges, at public institutions of higher education in Texas. This does NOT include living expenses, books, or supply fees.

Common Access (CAC) Readers

Many HCPL branches across the county have CAC readers available for active-duty and reserve personnel. Service members can access websites to do online training, check military email, create orders and travel vouchers, apply for billets, access unit sharepoint sites, and more.
